Curriculum
Program Goals

Introduce students to the world of digital music creation using DAWs (Ableton Live, Logic Pro).

Teach how to record, arrange, mix, and master music.

Develop creative skills to produce complete tracks from start to finish.

Provide hands-on experience with music software, recording techniques, and sound shaping.

Music Production Classes Curriculum (3-Semester Program)
Weekly 1-Hour Structure
1. Warm-up & Recap – 5 min
Quick review of last class, listen to a short example track.
2. Concept & Demonstration – 20 min
Instructor explains and demonstrates the day’s topic (DAW feature, recording, mixing, etc.).
3. Guided Practice – 25 min
Students work on laptops or with the instructor to apply the concept:

Editing a track
-
Recording a short part
-
Practicing an arrangement step
4. Creativity/Project Work – 7 min
Students experiment with their own ideas or group project.
5. Closing – 3 min
Recap key steps and assign small homework (finish a loop, edit arrangement, etc.).
