Music Theory Classes Curriculum (3-Semester Program)
Weekly 45-Minute Class Structure
1. Warm-up & Review – 5 min
Quick rhythm clapping or interval-identification exercise.
2. Lesson & Concepts – 15 min
Introduction to a new topic (notes, scales, chords, etc.).
3. Guided Practice – 15 min
Hands-on exercises: writing rhythms, identifying scales, analyzing music examples.
4. Creativity & Application – 7 min
Short group activity (create a melody, build a chord progression, analyze a short song).
5. Closing – 3 min
Summary of the topic and short homework task.
